Upload a Document to a List

I want to attach a document to a list. This would keep track of maps, contracts, instructions, pics of houses, headshots of clean cut employees for the report, plans, safety documents etc.

With the feature to put in a weblink, you could achieve the same thing using a cloud service, like google drive and sharing a folder for that specific list. Not sure if this would be as easy as a built in feature, but a workaround and the ability to have those items or information linked to a list.
